Training
Jan maintains an actives sales and training program at Surefire Farm, and is available for clinics as her schedules permits. With contacts world-wide, she specializes in finding event horses for clients at all levels, and always has a selection of sale horses available with prices generally starting at $10,000. In addition, Surefire's successful young horse training program provides an excellent opportunity for breeders and owners to have their youngsters correctly started and introduced to competition.

Bebe LaRue RRS-SOLD
Update 2/11: Bebe was 2nd at Sporting Days in OBN and 5th in her fist Novice at Full Gallop with a 22.2 in dressage! Bebe competed in dressage at Wellington, winning her Training Level Test 1 class on a 69.14. She also competed in the medium and high Training Jumpers.
Extremely well-bred five-year-old, 16.0-hand Hanovarian mare. Grand Champion filly in 2009 with a score of 81.6 at the Great American Insurance USEF qualifier breed show in Katy TX. Sire is Bonheur, a successful son of Brentano II, sire of Bretina, ridden by Debbie McDonald. Dam is Portiana by Prince Thatth x.
Bebe is a great mover with a super attitude. She's really brave and scopey and shows good talent to be a top level event horse or show jumper. She is incredibly sweet in the barn, can go out by herself or in a group, hacks out easily and is great about water, ditches, etc. |
Tazzmania-SOLD
Eight-year-old Thoroughbred. Fantastic one-star horse, finished 9th at the 2010 NAYRC, won 2009 AEC Junior Training. Perfect for a young rider or adult amateur. Super easy to ride, hack and work around.

Surefire’s Anwar – SOLD
Six-year-old, 16.1-hand Warmblood/Thoroughbred cross gelding. Anwar’s dam was a successful event mare, sire is Star Trace. Good mover, stylish jumper, easy lead
changes. Anwar has a wonderful mind and is very forgiving and would make a great horse for anyone. Competing Training eventing, was second at Seneca. Also suitable for
dressage or the hunter ring.
